The Charter leaves from the Folly River, traveling a three mile track to the Stono River Inlet. From there, we will travel along the coast of Folly Island. Next, we travel 7 miles heading north towards historic Charleston Harbor. We will make a brief stop at the Morris Island light house before following the coastline of this beautiful, uninhabited Island. While entering Charleston Harbor, Fort Sumter will appear on out left and Fort Moultrie on our right. (mile 13). Heading into the harbor we will travel along the south side to view historic Mt. Pleasant. Nearby Shem Creek harbors the local shrimp fleet. Also, there are many nice restaurants to accommodate brunch or lunch. While crossing the harbor we will have great views of the W. W. II aircraft carrier, the Yorktown, Charleston's Water Front Park, Castle Pinkney, and at mile 20 the Charleston Battery comes into view as we enter the famous Ashley River. Our final leg of the trip is traveling 8 miles along the picturesque Inter-coastal waterway.
